Question: Do you agree with Weaver that this shift has had a negative impact on society, and especially so on the ideals of rhetoric?
It can have a negative impact on society. Everyone has different beliefs and their on true ideals including this in rhetoric can cause harm. Some people's beliefs cause them to do unethical things.
