If the real progress of man is toward knowledge of ideal truth, it follows that this is an appeal to his highest capacity-- his capacity to apprehend what exists absolutely." (Weaver, 1049)

Question: Do you agree with this claim that Weaver is making? Do you think that the second part of his claim is true about "the real progression of man is toward knowledge of ideal truth" Why or why not?
