QQC 1 - The Sophists


"All who have and do persuade people of things do so by molding a false argument."

I find this quote interesting because it offers the idea that without falsehood there is no truth.

In your opinion, is the process of persuasion an exercise in trickery, hinging on a lack of truth, or does it seek to uncover the truth through the revelation of falsehoods?
