Aristotle believed in 3 forms of persuasion. Persuasion by character, emotion, and logic. A person has to come off as trustworthy. Displaying good sense, moral, and goodwill. Also the person should come off as credible. Personally I can't believe someone I don't trust as a person. This plays a big part in politics today. Persuasion by logic, is self explanatory. Providing deductive arguments that provide truth and logical facts is very important when deal with rhetoric.
